I am Linda Paulauska.

I like people and I like to talk.

I created Esenci because I encountered a lot of exciting stories in my professional and personal life. At the same time, I encountered strong societal prejudices, misunderstanding, condemnation and stigma in various issues. I often think that this attitude of society is related to lack of information.

In my opinion, the only solution is stories told openly. Only in this way can we broaden our horizons and promote understanding. That is exactly the purpose of Essence - to tell!

I personally admire strong families, exciting lifestyles, developed talents, determination, ambition, and extraordinary experiences and choices.

Some facts about me:

• I feel best at home, but I also feel quite comfortable in company.
• I want to meet new people.
• Bachelor’s degree in social pedagogy.
• Master’s degree in management science.
• Various other courses are a matter of heart for broadening horizons.
• I am in favor of formal education, but I believe continuous self-education is even more valuable.
• I used to live in the USA as part of an exchange program and voluntary work.
• Work environment related to child and family law, social work, project management and writing.
• Until the Covid-19 restrictions, my hobby was hosting guests on Airbnb.
• I used to work with children at the Riga Orphanage for several years.
• Likes the law (especially family law, protection of children’s rights - foster care and adoption).
• I love children.
• Likes animals, preferably with feathers.
• I travel to get to know the social environment of different countries.
• Likes beautiful, aesthetic things that are a pleasure to touch.
• I feel good in a clean, tidy, bright environment.
• I like to dance, I was once fond of West coast swing.
• I barely tolerate unsolicited upbringing and insistent advice.
• I value the people around me from the bottom of my heart and I try to remind them of that.
• I highly value empathy, accuracy and the ability to get things done in people.
• Inspired by real people’s stories.
